What Comes After
Morgan knelt by the library door, listening to Lazarus, Liam, Cden adn Amy talking about something serious, voices muffled. "Listen, Siifiriw, I just don't think its a good idea for you and Iirlon to go alone," she heard her uncle Caden complain, and she could already see his running his hands through his two-toned hair in exasperation, the way he often did around uncle Lazzy.
"I have met the gods, Caden, and if Odin were to listen to any mortal, it would likely be me," Lazarus snapped, Morgan rolling her eyes at her dramatic uncle. "As much as I... hate Norway, I'm the most viable option."
"Iirlon can't stand the cold," Caden pointed out.
"Well, then I'll resurrect him if he dies. Any more questions? Hm? No? Then its settled."
Morgan quickly scurried away from the door as she saw the knob turn, making her way outside to hunt down Iivi and Evan, figuring the two were off somewhere, likely together. She checked through woods and creeks, frowning when they didn't turn up, finally heading to the youth shelter that had been made from an abandoned Walmart, spotting Iivi and Evan near instantly, the two standing over a table of food, discussing something.
She marched up to them and grabbed their arms, grinning. "Guess where we're going?"
Iivi looked at her cousin as if she had grown another head. "Where?"
"I said guess! There's no fun in it if you don't play the game, Eve."

"We going to dinner or something? Or out of town for a weekend or something?" Evan asked, raising his brow at Morgan. "Or are you going to go and get us into some sort of trouble again?"

"Trouble. So much trouble," Morgan said, starting to drag her friends from the building. "I heard uncle Laz talking with your parents," she added, looking to Iivi, who now looked interested; her parents rarely kept anything from her, mostly because Caden had a big mouth. "He said he's going to Norway to try and commune with the gods, like Odin and the rest of them. I fuckin' bet its because of the rumors of the new gods."

Evan sighed but went along easily enough. "Let me guess, you want to go to Norway and do it instead." He said, frowning. "You know your parents will kill us if they find out? How are we even going to get there? We can't exactly fly there ourselves."

"Stella is usually up for anything," Morgan said lightly, scrambling up a tree to sit on the lowest branch. "Come on, Evan. Live a little! We get to go out of country. We get to meet gods. How cool is that?"
Iivi brushed her fingers over her Poseidon tattoo and sighed. "Okay, I'm actually with Morgan this time. I think it would be pretty awesome."

Evan sighed, climbing up after Morgan, his wings flapping a bit when he nearly lost balance. "I'm only agreeing to go along to keep you both out of trouble." He said with a frown. "I know without me you'll probably insult a god or something somehow, and someone has to be there to keep you guys from getting into too much trouble. Besides," He said, giving them both a smile, "I don't want to be the one left behind to deal with an angry Lazarus."

"Oh my god, pops is going to kill all of us when he realizes," Iivi said with a wince. Lazarus was an terrifying father when pushed, but it wasn't as bad as Liam's disappointed face. "Better make funeral arrangements for when we get back, because we'll be dead within seconds of entering America again."
Morgan rolled her eyes. "Well, good thing we're not focusing on that. Focus on the fact that we're going to talk to gods."

Evan sighed, hanging his head. "My mother's going to be so mad as well.." He said, shaking his head. "At least she's used to you guys dragging me into trouble. Well, if we're going to do this, we should probably get some bags together and get going before Dadzarus heads out."

"Meet me back here in an hour," Morgan said with a nod, hopping down from her perch. "Pack food and water. Its a long flight!" She added, dashing away, leaving Iivi sighing with Evan.
"We're so going to regret this," Iivi mumbled, heading back to her own home to get ready, telling everyone that she was staying with Evan and his mother for the night. It would give them a slight head start.

Evan sighed and headed home, telling his mother he was going to be staying with Morgan a few days before going and packing. He made sure to pack something warm, since he had no doubt it would be cold where they were going. He had a good stash of power bars, since usually they made great to throw into quick packs for when Morgan wanted to run off somewhere. He packed as many as he could fit in his bag, as well as a couple water bottles, before heading back to meet up with Morgan and Iivi.
